IT STARTED WITH AN IDEA…
ICP founder Pete Eliadis had a mission. He had a passion for safety and security, and a unique talent for teaching and mentoring others. A veteran of related experience, he wanted to make the world safer – one person and one client at a time. He believed he could teach others to make communities more secure. In 1996, he founded a company, Allied Consulting, to do just that.
MAKE THE WORLD A SAFER PLACE
Pete began by offering a single training session for U.S. law enforcement at a conference – and received a large amount of positive feedback. He realized that he could share his knowledge with other law enforcement and security professionals as a trusted consultant.
The demand for consulting services was immediately apparent. The CEOs of large and small organizations and directors of government agencies turned to Allied Consulting to help address the growing need for workplace security in a comprehensive manner. The company’s specialty areas expanded to include police guidance and a framework for training employees and security forces, to empower them to make their workplace safer. The company eventually changed its name to ICP to reflect its broad mission of providing this unique insight to clients.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED & ON-GOING
Over several decades, ICP has grown to become a major force in the safety and security field, with a team that includes hundreds of experts in their respective fields. ICP has provided consulting services for more than 700 organizations in 60 countries, including both large and small government, business, and public and private agencies.
ICP maintains its U.S. headquarters in Maryland, and a satellite office in Senegal, West Africa. To date, more than 10,000 people across the globe have been trained by ICP in various strategies to support safety and security. ICP is currently focused on the great need for safety and security in the domestic market.
